What is Artistic Swimming?
Formerly known as synchronized swimming, artistic swimming is an Olympic sport which combines swimming, dance, and gymnastics. Swimmers perform routines – solos, duets, trios and teams – consisting of elaborate moves in the water, accompanied by music.

It was a great weekend of learning and celebrations to Natation Artistique Canada Artistic Swimming 100th anniversary gala! Our President Christian Gosselin, Technical Coordinator Laurel Hindle and Provincial Team Head Coach Anastasiya Petrenko were able to attend and will bring back all of that knowledge to our athletes, coaches and organization! MAS is proud to announce that Lisa Dunville will help lead the MAS Provincial Team program as Assistant Coach, starting September 1st, 2024, until the end of the 2025 Canada Summer Games.Lisa Dunville is the head coach of Thunder Bay Artistic Swimming Club and has been for the last 15 years. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Lisa is passionate about offering artistic swimming at all levels to the community. Lisa attended Lakehead University and graduated with a degree in Psychology. Lisa is also Competition-Development Certified. She had coached many years at the National Stream level producing some very strong swimmers, who are now competing at the International Level. She enjoys coaching the technical aspects of the sport and helping athletes achieve their goals. As a new mom, Lisa enjoys sharing her love of the water with her daughter. She is thrilled to be part of Team 'Toba!'Welcome Lisa!
